Created by the award-winning founders of Homeboy Bars Group as well as the Front of House Manager at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel, The Bottle Cocktail Shop was first imaged in lockdown. Originally an online store, the team sought out to provide pre-made, luxury, bartender worthy cocktails to people at home. A huge success, post pandemic the team approached AMD to establish a permanent bricks and mortar shop in London’s Islington Square.
The brief was to create the most welcoming space in the off-licence realm, which could also morph into a cocktail bar in the evenings, creating an environment that invited customers to shop and also stay.
With 1000 sq ft of mixed retail and bar space, the central area is reserved for socialising, whilst the prime window space boasts an array of products ready to buy. To allow for crucial storage, we sectioned off a mezzanine level. To access this area, we designed a striking spiral staircase which is not only functional, but enhances the look and feel of the space.The use of timber, concrete and colour black throughout provides a raw, industrial edge with a polished finish - leaning into a modern cocktail bar aesthetic.
